I went to a Salt Lake Stingers Baseball game (minor league) yesterday with my family. It's always a good time with the fam. Oh yeah and the game was pretty good too. What I don't understand is why people go to a sporting event, pay their $8.00 (oh wait it was free!!!) and then complain that the people (us) in front of them are too loud and they keep standing up! I'm sorry I didn't know that we were watching a ballet! If you want quite while watching a baseball game THEN WATCH AT HOME!!! We always get people commenting on our .... um team spirit by the end of the games. We dance, we yell and we cheer really loud. Even when we are on the third baseline seated somewhere near the outfields man. And yes I think the batter can hear me when I'm yelling at him. Oh yeah and I had 3 Dr. Peppers and a whole bag of cotton candy to myself. I always wonder what kind of drunk I'd be at the games if I drank. If I'm this loud and obnoxious while sober what would I be if I was drunk... hmmm?
The game was good, we only scored in two innings but when we score, we kicked ass! The final score was 13-7.
On a side note, I woke up this morning to my cat 3 inches from my face staring at me. Ummm hello. I guess he was tired of listening to my alarms go off every 9 minutes. And I had spaghetti O's for breakfast... mmm breakfast of champions.

Oooh, that sounds like fun. How many cavities do you have now after the Dr. Peppers and cotton candy? Sounds yummy to me!
You need Dublin Dr. Peppers.. know what those are? They still make them in Dublin, TX.. LOVE THEM.
I once ate like 13 things of cotton candy on a dare at a baseball game.. combine that with beer. hello headache.
hmmm...if all you wanted was choas, noise, and Diet Dr. Pepper...why the hell didn't you come to see me?
btw, i know i talked to you earlier today, but for the record, i wanted you to know that we're alright. New Orleans is not. And that makes me cry. You need to post some of your pictures of the french quarter in honor of the fallen Big Easy. thanks.
I know I was looking at those last night, it's so sad! I saw the church that we took pictures infront of that is now underwater! Can't believe it!
We'll probably have people from New Orleans staying with us. Erika already took in one couple, and it could be a few months before they have some place to return home to. I'll keep you posted...the phone lines are all still tied up.
That's so nice of you!
There's nothing like sitting back and having a few beer at the game. Our minor league team here is the Rochester Red Wings (farm team to the former Orioles, now farm team to the Twins)
The Twins are my favorite! I think the Stingers are the farm team to the Angels and We use to have the Buzz which was the farm team to the Twins.
