I think Memory Loss is kicking in. I'm setting things down and can't remember were I placed them. Names completely evade me. I've lost things and can't remember the last time I even saw them.
In nine days I turn 28, not really that old, but man do I feel old! I have been having the worst memory lately. I can't remember anything. I'm sure it's because I don't get my full 8 hours of sleep each night, but I never did in College and I was just fine. Maybe it's the T.V. that's sucking my memory away. Or maybe I don't drink enough water, but whatever the reason I feel old!
I've lost my drivers license. I'm sure it's somewhere in my house. But then again I can't remember the last time I've seen it or used it. I don't write checks or use credit cards at the stores. I only use my debit card so checkers don't normally ask to see drivers license for a debit card. I'm not too worried about it though, I'm sure it will turn up. And this will give me a good excuse to get a new drivers license with my correct address on it. Last time I got my drivers license stolen from my purse (someone stole my wallet then turned in my purse... bastards) I called to report it and basically the DMV didn't even care that it had been stolen. They wouldn't put anything on my record stating that it had been stolen. They just said go to the DMV and get a new license. I didn't even have to get a new picture taken because they already had my old picture on file. So I got the exact picture and the exact number. Does that sound right? When I find the time and energy to go stand in line at the DMV I'll go get another drivers license, until then I need to make sure I don't speed or get in an accident. Don't need to get a ticket for no drivers license as well.

What was I supposed to be commenting on?
ummm...yeah, because the DMV is the place to go.
you'll end up in tears, it's a given. In fact, they train their employees to be cold-hearted ass holes who are meant to simply look busy and snap at you when you ask a question or step out of line.
If I were you, I'd turn your house upside down looking for your stupid (already duplicated) license before going to the DMV.
I think little miss had the same problem in Georgia (twice if I remember correctly)
YES! I was at the DMV in Atlanta from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. before I finally got my license! (I was out of state, AND the piece of @**! card was expired by two days!) I was in the process of moving my family from Iowa to Atlanta, people! Give me a break! I had to retake the written test, retake the driving test, pass the eye exam, and donate blood and my first born to get my freakin' i.d.! (and that WAS the 2nd time I went to the DMV!)
thanks, J, for bringing THAT one up!
; )
