I figure Cat toys are more for my entertainment then for the actual cat. I'm sure it's the same with children toys. We probably get more entertainment from them then the kids do.
I borrowed a child's fishing pole from my grandpa for a lesson that I was doing. I have yet to return it. So yesterday I decided to play with Abbie. My grandpa had tied a clothes pin to the end of it. I threw the line and clothes pin out let my cat look at it then reeled it back in. This entertained me for about 45 minutes, it entertained my cat for about 3 minutes. I was having a blast. But we have vaulted ceilings so the kitchen walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so I was throwing it over the walls and dragging the clothes pin up the wall, it was so funny watching Abbie, because he didn't want anything to do with it but, he wanted to make sure he could always see it.
I had the time of my life playing with the fishing pole. How easily I am entertained. Anyone got a slinky... he he.

I'm glad Petsmart is there for YOUR entertainment.
haven't you seen the Petsmart commercial where the employee is trying out a huge cat apartment, and when recommending it to the cat owner she says "yeah I love it, I mean she'll love it".
your cat sounds like mine... except she wouldn't even bother to watch it. why should she when there's so much sleeping to do and she's only got in 14 hours today so far...
this is the same cat that didn't bat an eye when the damn rat invaded the house. she is a FAT ASS.
