Today as I was getting out of my car to head into work I reached down to grab my purse and it wasn't there. I had everything else, my phone, my camera and my lunch; but my purse was no where in sight.
So where did I leave my purse?
Did I place it ontop of my car as I unlocked the door?
Did I bring it home from the store last night?
Or in my rush to leave did I just forgot to grab it.
But then I have never forgotten to grab my purse. My purse is like my soul. In college my friends would always ask if I brought my soul with me, because that's how close I kept my purse to me at all times.
Backpacking through Zion's National Park, yup got my purse.
Rave in the Salt Flats, yup got my purse.
Swinging across rivers to go camping, yup got my purse.
Night swimming at Pine View Resivour, yup got my purse.
Streaking through the forest, I carry my purse.
Weekend trip to Las Vegas... of course got my purse.
So where is it now? Why don't I have it? Am I losing my mind?
So I call my husband this morning waking him out of his unemployed slumber. And my purse is by the door right were I leave it every night. I can't believe I forgot it!!! My mom always tells me that if my head wasn't attached to my shoulders I would probaly lose that as well. Now it looks like I've forgotten my soul. Too bad it's only 8:30 am and I still have the rest of the day to make it through. Guess I'll have to drive slower on my way home, don't want Karma to kick me in the ass and let me get pulled over for speeding, that would be the icing on this weeks cake.

and you forgot to mention taking your purse to Moab. (Though it didn't help us much because we STILL had to have my mom wire us money!) OMG, I just remembered... we pretended to hookup with highschoolers just so we could use them for their showers! LMAO. We so need to write a team post about that trip! then again, maybe NOT.
i forgot my cell phone today and was pretty sure that the world earth stop spinning on its axis.
and swimming in pineview? i'll have to tell you about my friend that got... wow. i don't know you well enough to tell the story.
let's just say that i don't go into pineview anymore without a full body wetsuit because of him and his girlfriend.
Wow.. I know exactly what you mean, except lately - I've been forgetting my purse. I remember my Janie & Jack sack full o' crap.. but leave the purse!!
Oh my gosh little miss I totally remember pretending to hook up w/ the high schoolers for their shower. That was a fun trip!
That sucks, I hate that "if your head wasn't screwed on" statement.
