Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Well not in my case.
I've only been a bridesmaid twice. Once was in my twin sisters wedding (no pictures) and once in Little Miss's wedding.
(I'm to the right just behind the bride)
Yesterday my friend C in New Mexico called to see how my Christmas was. Then she told me about her Christmas. Her boyfriend finally proposed to her! I am so excited for her. They have two children together and didn't want to "have" to get married. They decided to wait until the kids were a bit older before they got hitched.
AND SHE ASKED ME TO BE A BRIDESMAID!! Can you tell I'm excited? Well I am!
I love being a bridesmaid! I love helping to plan weddings! With my sisters' wedding she had most of the stuff planned herself so I wasn't able to help with the actual wedding part. But I did help in planning her bridal shower. I had a blast making the invitations and figuring out the games that we were going to play. I had so much fun!
When Little Miss got married I was able to go with her when she looked at the reception hall and all that fun stuff. I loved helping pick out the bridesmaid dress and being there when she got ready. Mandi of course did things backwards. She had the reception before the wedding because of other peoples schedules. So it was fun to spend the night before her wedding with her. Normally after a reception the bride and groom leave together but in their case they spent the night in different counties. But then when she got back from her honeymoon they left me... boo hoo!
I can't wait to help C with her plans. Of course it's hard for me being in a completly different state. Hopefully I will be able to help were I can and I'm already planning on flying out a couple of times to help with stuff and to pick out my bridesmaid dress. I love being a bridesmaid!
So yeah I'm excited to be a BRIDESMAID!!!

I'm cursed as a bridesmaid. Only one wedding I've been a bridesmaid in has lasted (my sister's ... so far, ha!).
