Hey I like your idea about the tree. Just putting on the roof of the car! I could just take off my favorite ornaments. Nice holiday background I must add!

Love the new look! The moving background freaked me out. I wish I knew how to do that.

SORRY. You went out of town and I forgot to come back. Plus I've been totally slammed at work. I will check out all the posts I missed later this week, cause I'm off for christmas.

LOVE the christmas blog!

To Lady Luck, I'd have emailed you but you don't have an email address on your blog. And sorry I'm such a slacker at my blog, I just have been so unmotivated lately, but I do read everyones blogs religiously.

Here is my best way to explain how to change the template (which may make no sense at all):

The real genius you should be talking to is Erika (Barefoot Belle), Mine is more trial and error.

To find the background I just go to www.google.com and click on images. Then I type in the image I would like to find. The candycane and snowflake I typed in Christmas Background. I just try to find something that would look good repeated. I right click on the image, select Properties then copy the URL address.

In Template near the top of my template page there is a section that says Body.
I'm not sure what yours looks like because all templates are different. You can paste this or try to find your own:
background:#466 url("http://backgrounds.mbif.net/backgrounds/candysnow.gif") repeat left bottom;

This is for the the snowflake background. You can also put this in your layout to see if it works and change the url to whatever you find and would like to use. I basically did the same thing to the Header. Make sure it says repeat after the file or color name so it doesn't just do half of the box or area. In the Blogger help you might be able to find some html help as well. There are color codes (# then the color code) in the Blogger Help as well I just type in Color and look for something that might help me. I press preview alot at the bottom of the Template page so see if my change worked and if it didn't then I just press clear edit. Like I said it's a lot of trial and error for me. If it works and it's what I want I save the template then go back in and play some more. Hopefully this helps, but definitly talk to Erika or Mandi they are the ones that taught me.
