Yeah so the old saying in like a lion out like a lamb. Yeah I can't wait until it goes out!
I woke up this morning to the windows next to my bed rattling. This is what I found when I went outside to make sure our house was still intact.
This is the south side fence.
The picture on the right shows that the only thing holding our gate onto the fence is a hinge and even that isn't holding very well. It's all bent and about ready to snap off. I'm pretty sure that gate will be on the ground when I get home from work.
This is the north side of the fence
The picture on the right is a closeup of the bottom of the fence. The post lying on the ground broke off in a different wind storm. We tied the fence to the existing post until Spring (it happened at the beginning of winter) but now the second post is breaking and we may have to try to replace it as soon as possible.
Because of the wind we are now going to have to replace both of our gates and some siding!
Is March over yet?

damn! that sucks just wind did that
We had a wind storm come through last night too leading into the rain we have today (rain in the desert, who'd a thunk?). Anyways, I heard a rolling thunk come from our balcony. When I got up to see what was going on I realized our stone-topped table that took three grown men twenty minutes to lug upstairs, grunting all the way, had TIPPED OVER and was hanging off the edge. I had to create a lever system with a broom handle to slide it over enough so it did not smash below since I could not pick it up myself.
Wind is fun to listen to, but it can be a powerful bitch!
something similiar happened to our fence last night... it freaked us out because it kept banging against the side of the house.
it's going to be a long march.
wow, you got the banner center and everything moved closer! I came over to work on it and it was done, Go YOU! You've done well, my little html prodigy.
Yes you have taught me well my master
LOL - I love that you're covering breaking news in your own backyard.. literally!!!
Now that's some wind!!
Holy shit! I can.NOT believe that!! I had no idea what was going on in Utah...apparently a bit of rearranging!
