Lazy Robbers

This morning well checking my local news websites I saw this story:

Police Investigate Drive-Through Robberies
March 27th, 2006 @ 7:05am
Gene Kennedy Reporting
West Valley police are investigating two armed robberies at fast food restaurant drive-throughs.
It happened first at the Wendy's near 3600 South 5600 West just before the restaurant was closing. A man in a green car ordered a meal and pulled up at drive-through. But when he was supposed to pay, he greeted the employee at the window with a gun and demanded money. The employee slammed the window shut and everyone inside ducked. The robber did not get any money and took off.

While police investigated that robbery, they got a call about a robbery at the Alberto's restaurant at 3500 S. 3100 West. The suspect description and robbery method were the same, and this time he got away with some cash.
Police found a car nearby that matched the description. Three people were inside. All were arrested, but police now say those people were not involved and they've been released.
Police are now looking for a 1998 stolen green Jetta with license plate 039 LYW

Are people really getting so lazy they can't even go into a store and rob them? And I can't believe that the people at Alberto's would just give them the money through the window! Well I guess I can they didn't know if these people would get upset and come into the store so they did what they felt was right so they wouldn't get hurt! I just can't belive that someone would rob a store through the drive-through!!!

I guess that's the way to go if you don't feel like getting out of your car. Even better if you could get someone to fall for it!

Oh, dear. I guess this is one of those moments where we just feel gratitude it isn't another "Super Dell and the Media Are Agents of Satan" press conference.

Utah. A very unique place to live.
