5 years ago today, I met the guy I was going to marry.
I had just lost my job working at an apartment complex because the "Big Guys" decided to change management and since the manager hired me I was out too. My friends and I decided to go camping; then the next day we were going to go to PineView Reservoir to lay out and hopefully find some hot guys with a boat.
Mission accomplished, while laying out where a lot of boats were docked, a guy did approach us. He asked if we had seen his friends.... Umm right. But instead of "looking" for them he sat down to talk and hang out. And lo and behold his friends had a boat. Did we want to hang out? Of course! So the day turned into night and we were all still hanging-out. This guy and I clicked. We grew up in the same area, and we went to rival High Schools. He was 2 years younger then I was but that was okay. That first night he asked me if I would go with him to his company Lagoon day the next month... That's planning ahead. A week after meeting him I went to Iowa to visit Little Miss and wait for the impending birth of her sweetie. Every night I talked to this guy on the phone. I just couldn't get enough of him. When I arrived home we went out that same night. We were at the park when he told me he loved me. I just laughed. I felt the same way but for some reason I just couldn't say it back to him. We continued dating for the next month. He would visit his Grandpa in the hospital that happend to be by my apartment and also visit me, and I would go back "home" and be with him as much as possible. But the 45 minute distance was wearing on us. So about a month after we started dating, I moved back home, to be closer to him.
Six months after meeting we were engaged, and a exactly a year after meeting we were married! Life has been great for us since. We are happy together and feel like our life is good. I love my husband very much and I appreciate everything he does for me!
And as a side note I did buy the LoveSac for us for our anniversary but I was too excited to wait until today that I gave it to him yesterday.

Happy Anniversary!! What a wonderful milestone!
HI! Came from Barefoot Belle's blog. I always love reading about how people met and fell in love. Mr. Flinger and I have been married five years this fall and have known one another for 14 so it's been a long time since I had THOSE feelings like that. It's always fun to look back. :-)
LOVE the love sack!
