Just another blah Monday

Monday's are hard days for me to get back to work. Waking up is a chore (as are most days). But Monday just happens to be the worst because I've stayed up past 1am the Friday and Saturday. Than I sleep in past 11:00am Saturday and Sunday. So having to wake up by 6:30 just doesn't work for me.

Today I woke up early, got dressed then remembered I didn't have to be to work until 1/2 after my normal time. So I went back to bed, only to wake up late. Traffic sucked and I ended up being 20 minutes late.

Then actually working is so hard. I'm tired so consintrating is impossible. Motivation is completly gone especially since my boss isn't here. Usually I'm really productive when she's gone but Monday's not so much.

Also today I'm obsessed/distracted with finding a rental house in Vegas. My group of friends and I are going to Vegas at the end of the month and instead of each of us getting hotel room we are going to rent a house. We are looking at roughly $175 - $250 per couple for the weekend. It's actually a great deal, because we'll have our own pool and hot tub. So we can swim anytime of the day that we want! There will be a living room so we don't have to pick who's room to hang out in. We'll be able to eat breakfast there at the house so we will save some money. I'm hoping to have the house rented today.

We had some people staying at our house over the weekend. So leaving work will even suck because I know I'll have to go home and clean. Having two guys sleeping in our living room was pretty interesting. We were constantly stumbling over stuff. But it wa fun to have my cousin stay with us, I felt bad we didn't hang out with him too much, but he had a lot of things he wanted to do and people to see.

This weekend we went and saw Blades of Glory. I liked it. Both the husband and I thought it was really funny. My cousin said he thought it was cheesy, but what else do you expect with a Male Pair Figure Skating movie.

Lessons learned:

* If you wake up early don't go back to bed. Even if you set an alarm you still wont get up.

* Traffic sucks at 8 in the morning, especially when your running late.

* Having a work plan helps when your not feeling motivated. That way it's like a game because you have to finish. Who am I kidding a list isn't going to help me today. Tomorrow maybe, but not Today.
