Semi-Compulsive

There are many things that I do that make me wonder if I'm 1/2 complusion disorder.

- Color Coordinate my clothes in the closet
- The front of my clothes have to be facing one direction
- Not leaving any cabinet doors open in a kitchen (I have to close them I hate cabinet doors being left open).

And these may be normal for most people. I know ALOT of people that have to have their clothes color coordinated.

Last night as I was trying to fall asleep, I grabbed my pillow and noticed that the pillowcase was coming off. I don't know why this boths me but it does. It had barely slipped away from the pillow and was driving me crazy. I didn't want to get up to fix it so I layed there "trying" not to think about it. But I knew it was there. I knew that there was a part of the pillow (a part I don't even lay on) that was not covered. It was late and I was comfortable but the pillow needed to be fixed. There have been times I've noticed the husband has taken his pillowcase off while he slept and I've had to take the pillow away from him to find a new cover. There is something about not having the bed perfect when I go to sleep that drives me nuts. I have to have all the covers straight and covering an equal portion of me. I've wrestled away sheets many nights from the husband just to get the bed to be perfect. I've even goneas far as taking all the sheets blankets and comforter off the bed and making the bed while the husband slept.

I know people have funny quirks about them. I think that's what makes us unique.

I believe I have more things that I am compulsive about than not! LOL. I am going to drive my future husband BONKERS!

I can't remember now what it was but I did the same thing the other night. I was SO comfortable in my bed and I.could.not go to sleep until I got up and fixed whatever it was. Ugh! It wasn't even something significant enough to remember. LOL.

I think we are all a little compulsive. I have this wierd thing that if I touch something with one hand I have to touch it with the other. Also, if I step on a crack with one foot I have to step on a crack with the other. I don't feel balanced it I don't even things out. I'm glad I never got a broken bone or else I would go insane for 6 weeks.

I just found your blog through a few others I was looking at and I have to tell you that I color coordinate my closet in ROYGBIV order, the shirts all face in the same direction...the cabinets have to be closed AND I like to have all of the canned good labels facing the front! :) I teach in a messy art room, I think that's partially why I like my home organized...and partially because I'm probably slightly crazy! :)

Oh my gosh, the pillow thing would drive me insane! I can not sleep if the bed isn't perfect either.
