just another blah day.

I'm pretty sure my head is going to explode today.

I have allergies or Sinuse or hayfever -- take your pick.

Of course it happens on the day I had to be at work this morning at 6:30am and my boss is out of the office until Friday so I get to work until 5 tonight. That makes for a really long day by itself but coupled with allergies = Hell.

Still sick!

But no sick like I have a fever, I can't get out of bed sick.

Sick as in I have no voice; yet I'm still at work trying to answer the phone. This happens to me every year, so why even be surprised.

It's probably laryngitis (sp). It seems that I got it one year and now it just keeps coming back. I should have know that when my throat was feeling dry and that there was drainage in the back this would happen. But I didn't and now look at me, I sound like a horn!

So if you need me I'll be trying NOT to answer the phones today.

Being Sick Sucks!!

I hate being sick.

I hate not being able to sleep at night.

And I hate the fact that when I can't sleep at night my cat thinks he can run havoc on our house.

So the cat gets locked in the mud room at 2 am after 3.5 hours of trying to sleep.

I am not a good mood person when I (a) haven't had enough sleep or (b) being kept awake by a dry throat and a naughty cat.

And why is it that sicknesses only show their ugly heads just as your drifting off to sleep? I'll be right on the edge of sleep then all the sudden my throat feels like sandpaper and there is nothing that will help, not even the glass of water by my bed helps... grrr.

So here I am sitting at work - super tired. I hate that the most - a four day weekend and still I'm tired!
