I'm going to exercise!

So I've been thinking the last few days that I really need to get into shape. I'm not overweight by any means but I just need to get my ass in gear and do something.

Here is what my typical day looks like:
Wake up at 7 am
Be at work by 7:30 but I'm usually late
Sit at my desk playing online for 3-4 hours
Work (still sitting at my desk) for 2 hours (but of course I'm checking what's going on online all the time! Heaven forbid I miss an email or a blog!
Eat lunch (still sitting)
If we have anything to do I might help the other girl in the office or I might just tell her what to do then go back to sitting at my desk and looking busy.
3:30 I leave work
Get home about 4pm
Sit on my couch and catch up on all the reruns
Make dinner
Watch more tv or scrapbook while I watch TV
10-11pm I finally go to bed.

So looking at my daily routine I sit on my ass for pretty much the entire time. So starting Monday I'm going to start working out when I get home. I need to do something to get in shape for when we go to Austrailia. Heaven forbid I show my flabby butt on the beaches of the Golden Coast! I have a ab roller for my mid section, I got a belly dancing video (my husband should get a kick out of that!), and I have a buns of steel video that I can do to get my rear in gear, and I'll take the stairs to our fifth floor suite at work and not take the elevator. Of course I still will have to check all my internet sights that I frequent (I'd go through some serious withdrawls without them), but maybe I'll stand instead of sit while I surf online... ha ha.

I'm not looking to loose weight just get in shape. So this blog will be a good way for me to keep myself in check. Don't want my blog readers to think I'm getting fat and lazy.
