Unorganized Primary

Now this post will not make much sense if anyone not Mormon, but I just wanted to vent anyways.

I am a primary teacher I teach the 3 year olds. When I moved into my new ward I told the bishop there was one calling that I did not want, and that was Primary. I have no kids and I was new into the ward. And in the land of the Mormons (see Milesaway) if you don't have children after the age of 20 then your an outcast. So I did not want to be in Primary because Primary is the blackhole of the Mormon church.

Anyways our primary in unorganized. No one every knows what is going on and the kids are out of control. I got a call yesterday night and was told that my class was incharge of Sharing Time. So two days before Sunday I am told I need to plan a lesson and activity for 50+ out of control children for 25 minutes! And the other teacher in my class no one can ever get ahold of. And on top of that she's just barely out of Young Womens (so she's only 18), which I don't agree that Young Women should get put back in Primary when they turn 18. I asked what the topic needed to be about and the women calling me didn't even know. She was like well you can do it on Faith. I've been in the Primary in every other ward I've been in (which is why I didn't want to be in Primary again), so I've done my fair share of Sharing Times but this was the first time I've never been given an idea or direction. So I'm off to the Distribution Center to get a Friend Magazine and maybe then I will get some direction, even if it's not the direction the Primary Presidency will want me to go in.

So here's to a disorganized Primary, I'm going to have a coke!
