A good weekend

I had a nice relaxing weekend. I didn't do anything. My husband let me sleep in until 10 am both Saturday and Sunday. I had the day off work on Monday (thank you Utah holiday), but I didn't sleep in because I went to the parade with my sister, nephew and mom. It was pretty entertaining. We saw many floats (mostly religious themed), saw President Hinckley (the Prophet of our church - I yelled Happy Birthday to him and he smiled at me), wondered how the bands could be in full gear and not be melting on the pavment, and stood as our soliders walked down the street followed by some tanks. It was hot and I got a sunburn on my legs but I figure whatever color I can get I'm happy with. We had my family over for a bbq then played Bocce in the park.

For anyone that doesn't know what Bocce is, it's a game with two balls per person/team that you throw at a target. The target in this game being a smaller ball about the size of a golf ball. Normally Bocce is played in dirt courts but since we did not have a dirt court we played in the park. It was fun because we had obsticals, like the playground, trees, hill and houses to deal with.

So that was my relaxing weekend. My boss didn't call me at home and I got to sleep in. Those two factors make for a very good weekend!
