Some kids are gross

In church a little girl in my class picked her nose and tried handing the booger to the teacher I teach with. I thought I was going to throw up. It was huge and green! How does a four year old have such huge boogers!? I seriously was gagging, the worst part was the teacher didn't know what she was trying to hand her and almost took it. IT.WAS.SO.GROSS! Is this normal? Do kids really do that?

It makes me wonder; if that would make me want to throw up, when I have a child of my own; how would I handle messy blow out diapers? Is it different with your own children? Is stuff like that not as gross?

Lady Luck, seeing kids eat them is just as gross to me, or wiping them on themselves... ew! Too funny you tell your daughter she won't have any friends if she keeps eating them... lol

I don't know, I have no children at this time. I am however, gagging from just reading that.

another reason to get a cat. cats are known for NOT picking their noses and would never be caught dead with a blown out diaper.

It's different for me with Faith. Boogers are part of the reason I gagged almost constantly when I taught kindergarten. Child picks nose, child wants to hold hands - what do you do? You're torn between hurting feelings and vomiting. Now I just go get a wipe.

Same concept - I can handle picking up after Nate, but picking up after another dog makes me start retching.

No doubt, it IS disgusting. But like Holly said, you get a wipe and move on.

(Though if someone else's kid has a nasty nose, I wanna vomit.)

YAAAAAK! Oh my word, that is nasty. LOL! However, when it's yours you don't even think about it. At least that is the way it is for me. Please, they hand me some seriously gross stuff, lol!
