My poor poor car

My car is crap!

With that being said, I loved my car. It was a really good car to me. With memories of my Ford Taurus (damn that car) my current car is amazing! It has lasted for a long time and I've beat the hell out of it.

My car has been in four accidents (for the record non were my fault)
driven to Iowa
Canada
Wendover (many many times)
Las Vegas (many many times)
Cedar city and St. George (a billion times)
and to the Grand Canyon.
Not to mention that it's the car we always drive around the valley and to visit friends in Provo and Ogden. So my car has been a very good car. Yesterday I took it to get the oil change and on my comments they said - Vehicle leaking oil, Vehicle leaking transmission oil, CV Joints damaged and finally Car is worn out. No shit sherlock it's '98 with over 140,000 miles on it. It's been a damn good car. They are assholes for talking to my baby like that! And for the record my car does not leak oil it burns oil (there is not one drop of oil in our garage or anywhere else for that matter), the transmission is not leaking oil either (that's just a whole different story). And the CV joint yeah those are broken, they are knocking so loud I can't even drive it!

So the moral of my story is I'm getting a new car. Hopefully this weekend. I don't want/need anything fancy just something that will get me buy for the next few years until we get the Jeep paid off and hopefully get some of our mortage paid down. Then I will get a sweet ride. But for now I have to drive the Jeep. The Jeep is nice, I like it, when I don't have to drive it. I've never driven a stick shift car before. Bob taught me for the first time after we got married. So I'm still new at the whole stick thing so it scares me. I get nerveous when I drive it. I hate stopping and going up any inclines. But I have to do what I have to do. It's suppose to snow today, it's suppose to snow alot! Into tomorrow. I've never driven the Jeep in the snow! I'm scared! I may call my mom tomorrow and have her take me to work until it stops snowing. I don't think I can handle the stick and the snow... no sir, no way.

So Mr. Snow, please don't snow until 4:00 when I'm safe in my house and have no reason to drive anywhere.

Ummm, I think the snow started earlier than 4:00 ... sorry!

And with that said, I had to drive a 1991 Ford Probe from highschool all the way through college up to the second year of marriage. That was not fun at all. Luckily I had BSC that whole time and he drove me everywhere. I never trusted that thing for a minute.

I bought a brand-new car in 2004. I LOVE IT! It's such a great feeling knowing that you're not going to be stuck on the side of the road for an hour waiting for a tow truck. Yep, did that a lot with the Probe.

I don't know how to drive a stick shift either. Brian keeps threatening to teach me but I'm too scared of dropping someone's tranmission behind me as I try to drive away.
