Olympic jabber

On Sunday the husband and I were watching Olympic Men's snowboard half pipe we were making bets on what the scores would be. I was so winning! The husband I guess is an optimist. He was guessing their scores to be in the high 8's low 9's. I on the other hand guessed them to be mostly low 7's and high 6's; I was the closest. On the final snowboarder (U.S.A) he did pretty good but as the commentary's were saying because of a fall in the qualifying he was going to go conservative. So we made our bets and waited for the scores. They didn't show them! I was pissed! They showed who won but not the scores! WTF?

Yesterday when I got home from work I flipped the tv to the Olympic and watched Curling. I'm not sure why I like curling. I really have no idea how they score or any of the specifics but I love curling. If SLC has the Olympics again I am so going to a curling match! Maybe it's the Canadian in my that like the curling but I love curling! I cheered when U.S.A got the closest to the center. I guess they won because the commentary's said it was 2 - 3 so they did good. When SLC had the Olympics I didn't go to any of the venues but I spent quite a lot of time downtown. I waited in line to go to the Olympic park; when Creed played at the awards venue I stood outside the wall trying to get a glimpse of them and rocked out their music. My sisters and I tried curling at one of the family areas. My friend and I also tried the lugs and the husband and his friend tried the Bobsled (they got first in their division). All of these were on miniature scales but they were a blast! Maybe tonight I'll post some pictures.

So yeah this is my little speal for the 2006 Olympics. I haven't watched much of it but what I have watched I've like. I can't believe it's already been 4 years since the Olympics were here! Where did the time go?

Hey Little Miss remember the High Schoolers that asked for your number and you gave them your husbands cell phone... yeah that was fun!

Oh yeah and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Our family was talking about curling last night (can't remember what) and it turned into a discussion of the documentary on TLC called "The man whose arms exploded" or something like that. Have you seen that?? GAH!
