The inlaws are coming to dinner tonight. I feel like crap.
Should be an interesting night.
The husband has given me his cold - how sweet is that, no flowers, no chocolates just a nasty old cold.
Yesterday I left work 4 hours early because I took some dayquil right before I left home. Dayquil - not suppose to make you drowsy - me - So sleepy and drugged
Nyquil - suppose to help you sleep - me - can't sleep worth a damn
So yeah I feel like crap, I have to go home tonight after working a full day without any drugs, cook some marvelous dinner (I think we're going to have a chicken and brocolli bread -simple enough) and talk to the in-laws. Don't get me wrong, my inlaws are really nice, I'm like the daughter they never had and their only chance for Grandchildren (yikes). But when I'm sick all I want to do is watch TV and lie on the couch not entertain!
Umm yeah that's about it.

Any guests are stressful, especially in-laws. Good luck with that!
blah - nyquil doesn't make me sleepy at all, it just makes me cranky like nobody's business. So that would not be the recipe for sucessful entertaining!!

I am the esact same with with Dayquil and Nyquil. The Dayquil makes me sleep and the Nyquil keeps me up! So I switch them up...
Good luck with the in-laws. I have a hard time dealing with mine when I'm well...
