Not a realtiy show fan

I'm not a big fan of American Idol, but I was suprised that Chris Daughtry got the boot. I really don't watch most reality shows but I do read about them all online. It's a lot easier then taking 1 hour out of my day, so instead it only takes 5 minutes and I just get the general idea. Of course reading about it is only one persons point of view but no-the-less, I grew to like Chris. I will admit I've watch the show for the few minutes that he's been on and I really enjoy his style. It's the type of music that I listen to but obviously not American Idol material. It's probably for the best though, 50% of the American Idols are still nobody's.

Kelly Clarkson - First American Idol and she actually has a career. She's the a little punk mixed with pop.

Ruben Studdard - Second American Idol - ummm did he die? His runner up Clay Aiken has made it alot bigger but even he's not really "big".

Fantasia Barrino - Third American Idol - Yeah, again I didn't really watch the show and that season I had no interest in even reading about it. But honestly I think she won because people felt sorry for her. Poor single mom and illiterate. I haven't heard much from her, but then again I don't listen to much R&B

Carrie Underwood - Fourth American Idol - She's done good for herself sticking to her country roots.

So really 2 out of the 4 winners really haven't gone very far. So it will be interesting to see who wins out of the three finalist. And I wonder what their "style" will be. We've got the punk/pop, Soul/Gospel, R&B, and Country so what will the new winner's style be. I figured it would be Chris because of his "rock" style. But the fans voted no.

It's obvious that the writer of this article doesn't think much of any of the finalist.
