Aren't weekends for sleeping in?

I'm super tired this morning/afternoon.

All I want to do is curl up underneath my desk and sleep for a long time! I would go home and take a nap but then I wouldn't get any sleep tonight and the cycle would repeat itself tomorrow.

Saturday I woke up to my husband freaking out because he was late for his hair cut appointment (8am!!) Then my phone rang. It was my friend she needed a babysitter because her's fell through. I was up so why not. Babysitting if fun, especially when it's at my own house and we have a park right next door to my house! But by 1 pm I was wore out. I was very happy when his parents came and got him. That night we went to a drive-in (love the love-sac at the drive in!!!). The movies got over about 1:30 and we were home by 2. But our friends that went to the drive in with us decided to stay the night (no big deal) but we didn't go to bed until 4 o'clock am!

Then church was at 9:00 Sunday Morning. Of course I didn't get up for the first meeting but since I was teaching a class I did have to get up by 10:00. I was one sleepy girl! I napped for about 2 hours around 4pm, but that meant when I went to bed at 10:30 I wasn't tired. So finished reading the book I was reading (I hate dumb books that I feel like I need to finish!). When I finished reading the book I looked at the clock and it was 12am! Damn and I have to get up at 6:45 for work. Yeah fun day let me tell you!

I need a weekend just to recover from my weekend!

Isn't that always so true? A weekend to recover from a weekend as well as a vacation to recover from a vacation. It's a vicious cycle.
