This is going to be my theme song for today.
Today started out as a bad day - so hopefully it can only go up from here.
I lost my keys. It would be okay because we have another set for my car; but the problem is the other set we have doesn't have my office keys on them. So I spent 20 minutes looking for my keys this morning - even check the garbage (gross) just in case the cat knocked them there. But no luck. So I had to do the only thing I could think of - call the boss and let her figure out what we need to do. Well our luck - no one was available. Neither one of us had the building Maintance guy's number so we could only leave a message with the building answering service. In the end my bosses husband had to come let me in before he went to work. So he saved the day. But I still had to sit in the parking garage for 45 minutes waiting for him. Luckily my phone has ONE game on it, so that keep me distracted. That and I was able to talk to Little Miss while she was running errands - thanks (for everything!!!).
Update
I'm pretty sure the husband drove my car last so he's probably the culprit of stealing my keys. I didn't even think to check his pants to see if he had put them in there. And he forgot his phone this morning so I couldn't even call him - grrr!

I have been losing my keys like crazy because the dog bone key hanger I usually keep by the door isn't going to be hung up until I've finished painting that area.. it's driving me nuts.
I think any day that involved talking to Little Miss sounds pretty good to me!!
When I got home from work I had my husband check his pockets and sure enough they were there. Next time that will be the first place I check.
I love this video and song.
I will also mention that I have lost my bank card SIX times in two years.
Sigh.

Oh my gosh, just got the video to play--
did I ever tell you about the stuffy wedding reception we catered for last summer? some rich, stuck up, super fancy (and super boring) reception? When the band took a break for the cake cutting, they put the music on random and walked away...
THIS was the song that was playing!! I (along with the other staff who recognized how funeral-like this "celebration" turned out to be) was laughing SO HARD!!
Picture it, on their wedding video, EVERYTHING!! "where is the passion when you need it the most?" "so you had a bad day!"
LMAO. Seriously. This song is friggin' hilarious to me now!!
Bad days suck...I'm having one today myself.
