Finally some news

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I think this one speaks millions.....

I've been waiting a long time to write this post and here I am and I'm speechless.

I'm eleven weeks pregnant so not quite past the first trimester but I just can't wait any longer to scream my news from the rooftops. Everyone close to me knows by now (family and close friends) and I've finally told my boss. I was going to wait until I was showing but thought better of it.

So far the pregnancy has been going fantastic. I haven't had much morning sickness. There are only a few foods that make my stomach turn. I haven't had any headaches or other "symptoms" so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

We've had our first doctors appointment a few weeks ago. I was only 9 weeks along so we weren't able to find/hear the heartbeat. But I made them do an ultrasound and we saw our little one move around and the doctor said he saw flickers of the heartbeat when it moved. So he says all is well. We have our next appointment at the beginning of Jan so we should hear the heart beat then.

Other than that I'm always hungry or tired so I'm guessing things are moving along great.

We are very excited and it's an answer to alot of prayers and medical testing. We were given a 5-6% chance of conceiving through insemination and our doctor wanted to go right to invetro but we held out. So instead of a $20,000 procedure we only ended up with a $350 procedure. Much more in my price range and easy on the checkbook.
